This site has been started by new residents at the StoreHouse Lofts in Alameda Point. We hope to make it easier for our neighbors to connect with each other in person, find events, host events, and set an example that other communities could emulate to imagine, plan and build a better future for all of us.
Located in the heart of the Bay Area on the island city of Alameda, Alameda Point (a former naval air station) is a neighborhood in transition. Creative reuse of military buildings and plans for new construction are in progress. Offering panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, Alameda Point is home to historic buildings, important wildlife habitat, and a unique shoreline and open space landscape on the Bay.

Enterprise District background
The Enterprise District is a 180-acre section of Alameda Point entitled for commercial development. The City has undertaken various efforts to advance development for over a decade, but has been challenged by the need to replace core infrastructure, environmental contamination (the former Navy base is a Superfund site), policy restrictions, and market realities.
